Sally Crabtree

sallycrabtreeThis site is an evolving showcase for the work and projects of Sally Crabtree, performance poet. It incorporates embedded videos and music from Youtube and Soundcloud and also utilises a dedicated homeppage for mobile viewers.

Duibhne Gough

duibhneA small, simple site that showcases Duibhne’s jewellery using large masonry style galleries.

The Centre

The Centre in Newlyn is a large community centre which incorporates the Newlyn Trinity Methodist Church. They needed a friendly website that was easy to navigate, reflected all areas of the organisation and could be simply updated by a member of staff. The site includes time tables, blogs, special events and lots of image galleries.

Cornwall Archaeological Society

casA large site which incorporates lots of searchable data, such as journals and newsletters. It also features a password protected members area and an events booking calendar.

Nickie Carlyon

A clean & simple site to showcase the work of Newlyn based artist, Nickie Carlyon.

Jessica Cooper

jessica-cooperThis wordpress website looks very simple, but contains some complex programming to keep the minimal look the artist was looking to achieve to compliment her work. The more you explore, the more you will find as the site contains press clippings, essays, galleries etc, all carefully placed to be hidden but yet intuitively found.

Jump with Jo

jump-with-joThis site was a lot of fun to create. Jo Long, the site’s owner, wanted a kangaroo to represent her bouncy nature as a children’s fitness instructor. She also wanted to incorporate images drawn by some of the children in her classes.

Navigator Arts

An online gallery specialising in post war and contemporary Cornish art. It features galleries, online shopping and a database of biographies on the artists represented by the gallery.

Carolyn White

A clean and simple wordpress site which showcases the work of Stroud based artist Carolyn White and accompanied a retrospective exhibition of her paintings in 2015.

Ednovean Farm

The owners of this luxury B&B near Penzance are very active on social media and wanted a website which integrated well. Search engine optimisation was a priority for this site and lots of time was spent on strategically placing key words wherever possible.

Tots About

A magazine style website which compliments a free quarterly magazine. This large site is built in wordress, which is perfect for enabling the site owner to add new articles and have them appear in multiple places on the website by just selecting a check box.

Giant’s Quoit

giants-quoitThis is a huge site which documents the excavation and reconstruction of a cromlech in Cornwall. It is built using the Joomla platform which suited a site of this size and nature well. It is a large site with many different areas of interest, incorporating videos, image galleries, activities to download, and feeds from social media.

Zoe Kovacs Murals

This site is an older HTML site, and is included here because I love it’s visual impact. It does not have the responsive qualities of the more recent sites: it doesn’t change it’s layout to suit different screen sizes.

Breon O’Casey

breon-o-caseyAnother older side which uses html, and so is not responsive to different screen sizes. A comprehensive retrospective of the work of this multidisciplinary Irish/Cornish artist. The site includes large galleries of work, videos and image slideshows.
